Feito & re-Feito — Made & Remade

Garagem Exhibition Centre, Ponte da Mucela, Portugal, 2024 — part of the Forgotten Lands programme.

Feito & re-Feito — Made & Remade
Participating artist Ana Sofia Ribeiro at work — Feito & re-Feito, Ponte d’Arte, 2024.

The exhibition focuses on sustainability in the concepts, materials and processes of selected artists. It shows works made of organic and human-made elements — post-consumer waste, 100%-recyclable glass, experiments with moulded grass, fibre sculpture from reclaimed textile waste, clothes eco-dyed with decomposed plants, mineral pigments, and drawings and paintings on biodegradable paper and canvas.

These are installed in a building which is itself an artwork-in-progress, constructed from old and new eco-friendly materials.
